Herbert Santos is a Mission Critical Safety Leader at Layton Construction with more than 20 years of experience advancing safety strategy across complex construction and high-risk operational environments, including the past six years focused on hyperscale data center portfolios.
He operates at a portfolio level, overseeing a multi-billion-dollar client program spanning six national campuses, more than 40 safety professionals, and over 10,000 trade partners across mission-critical projects. Herbert brings deep experience across the full construction lifecycle, from civil and structural work through MEP systems, commissioning, energized turnover, and client occupancy.
He partners closely with operations and executive leadership to align safety, operational risk, and workforce strategy with business objectives, including schedule certainty, contractor performance, client satisfaction, and long-term project success.
