Mark Lenling is the EHS and Data Analytics Manager at McGough, specializing in systems thinking, building performance, and risk management across the full project lifecycle. With more than 20 years of experience spanning EHS, energy systems, sustainability, QA/QC, and applied research, he brings a disciplined, data-driven approach to performance governance, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.

Mark provides enterprise leadership of EHS and energy programs across large capital projects and multi-site portfolios, including oversight of safety-critical systems on a $7 billion, 2.2-million-square-foot AI data center. He has extensive experience implementing ISO 50001 energy management systems, leading carbon reduction strategies, conducting energy audits, and verifying post-occupancy performance.

A strong advocate for predictive analytics and prevention-based systems, Mark leverages leading indicators, trend analysis, and root-cause methodologies to identify and address systemic risk before failures occur. His work integrates design, construction, and operations into a unified performance framework that enhances safety, energy efficiency, and long-term asset value.

He holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Management with an emphasis in energy and has contributed to national industry efforts through AIHA and ASSP, including work on climate change and safety systems. Mark is a systems-focused leader committed to building scalable, resilient, and continuously improving operational frameworks.
