Nick Viterisi

Safety Director Mortenson Construction

Nick Viterisi is the Director of Data Center Safety at Mortenson Construction and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS). He brings extensive experience in construction safety leadership, with a strong focus on innovation, risk reduction, and field-driven safety solutions.

Throughout his career, Nick has led the development and enhancement of multiple safety programs and tools, including construction safety orientation videos, confined space evaluation and permit systems, OSHA inspection flowcharts and checklists, mobile auditing applications, and safety training resources such as the 12 Cardinal Rule app and fire prevention specialist training materials. He is also a former Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), and Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL).

Nick is committed to advancing practical, technology-enabled safety systems that strengthen field execution and improve outcomes across complex construction environments.
